About Process

By fusing art, technology and fashion in an innovative way, the Digital Couture® collection has become recognized for its unique signature prints, used on high-end, luxury 100% silk products.

In creating our mixed media digital art, we incorporate a variety of techniques including photography, illustration, watercolor and oil painting. The beauty of nature and the history of different eras and cultures often inspire us. Every design evokes its own emotion creating a sense of joy, awe & wonder for both the wearer and the viewer.  

Since its kickoff in the late 1990’s, digital textile printing has become an innovative method for exquisite surface designing, by being able to create images that cannot be realized by any other traditional printing technology. It also has been regarded as one of the most sustainable green printing processes. 

Our initial idea of implementing digital printing in textile design has become a modernization and redefinition of art-to-wear. It is our hope that Digital Couture® will inspire a new outlook of art in fashion.

All products are made in USA, in our atelier, using the highest quality of silk, couture techniques and special care.

Designers Ileana-Olympia Andruchovici and Alex Stanciu are the duo behind Digital Couture®.
